A Novel Approach to the Analysis of the Soil Consolidation Problem by Using Non-Classical Rheological Schemes

The paper presents classical and non-classical rheological schemes used to formulate constitutive models of the one-dimensional consolidation problem. authors paid special attention secondary effects in organic soils as well soil over-consolidation phenomenon. systems partial differential equations were formulated for every model solved numerically obtain settlement curves.
